Fuji, Japan – Oct. 10, 2015 – Tequila Patrón ESM continued its worldwide motorsports season today after qualifying sixth and eighth for Sunday’s FIA World Endurance Championship’s (FIA WEC) 6 Hours of Fuji. The Fuji International Speedway is a new venue for the Florida-based team in its maiden season of the WEC.
Per the FIA WEC rules, the quickest lap time from each team’s two qualifying drivers are averaged in order to determine the starting position.
Ryan Dalziel and David Heinemeier Hansson qualified the No. 30 Tequila Patrón ESM Ligier JS Honda seventh with an average lap time of 1:32.558 (178.1 kph average speed). Dalziel and Heinemeier Hansson are co-driving with Tequila Patrón ESM driver/owner Scott Sharp during the six-hour endurance challenge on Sunday.
Ed Brown and Johannes van Overbeek qualified the No. 31 Tequila Patrón ESM Ligier JS Honda eighth with an average lap time of 1:34.892 (176.9 kph average speed). Brown and van Overbeek are co-driving with Jon Fogarty for Sunday’s race.
Green flag for the 6 Hours of Fuji takes place at 11 a.m. CET on Sunday, October 11 / 10 p.m. ET on Saturday.

For U.S. viewers, the 6 Hours of Fuji will air live on FOX Sports 2 on Saturday, October 10, at 10 p.m. until Sunday, October 11 at 4 a.m.
